Aussie Fashion Label Making It Big Overseas!

Recently AR has taken on a few fashion wholesalers as clients. Using our Trade Finance product, see below a case study on how we helped one of them.

Client: Australian Fashion Labels/ Facility Type: Trade and Debtor Finance/ Facility Limit: 1,000 000

Background: Started in 2002 Australian Fashion Labels Pty Ltd (“AFL”) has a long history in fashion design and wholesale specialising in the design to market process. Today the primary focus of AFL is a fashion design, sourcing and distribution company dealing in women’s apparel

Problem: They had a solid and strong existing business and a very solid forward order book. However their existing bank debtor facility didn’t allow them enough working capital to maintain the business and fund new orders locally and internationally.

Solution: AR Cash Flow put in a Debtor facility along with a Purchase Order Facility that allowed them to complete their existing back-log of orders as well as fund the day to day operations.

Challenges: One of the challenges of the account was the fact that some of their customers were based internationally in Europe and America. ARCF was able to fund international debtors on a non-recourse basis.

Opportunities: Going forward they can now confidently accept new orders and grow the business.
